Brand USA

Brand USA works in close partnership with the travel industry, including the Colorado Tourism Office, to maximize the economic and social benefits of travel. These benefits include fostering understanding between people and cultures and creating jobs essential to the economy.


Inspiration Guide

Brand USA produces an Inspiration Guide which goes out to 270,000 consumers annually through distribution at various trade shows, U.S. Embassies and other outlets. The CTO advertises in the guide each year, and destination partners also have the opportunity to purchase 1/4-, 1/2- or full-page advertisements. Pricing for the 2018 guides was $6,400 for a quarter page, $12,800 for a half page or $25,600 for a full page; prices change annually. The guide is produced in the fourth quarter for distribution the following year.

Brand USA Website

Colorado has a presence on the visittheusa.com website at visittheusa.com/colorado. The websites are produced in 13 different languages, and are referenced in all advertising done by Brand USA and the CTO. Destination partners can participate and have their own content pages under the Colorado pages and the CTO matches the destination's investment. In 2018, a new city page cost $7,000, which is a $3,500 investment for the destination, and the CTO will pay $3,500. Each year, the page can be refreshed at a cost of $2,250 for the destination, which is matched by the CTO at $2,250.
